Corporate Marketing will look increasingly like the highly effective kind of digital marketing that got Barack Obama elected.
So says Thomas Gensemer in this interview. Gensemer is managing partner of Blue State Digital, the consulting firm that designed and ran Obama’s online fundraising and marketing effort.
Note the importance Gensemer places on the “message” over the digital tactics used. This is another good reminder about the value of strategy in a world where digital doo-dads are springing up like weeds.
And prepare to be shocked when you hear how large a fraction of Obama voters are part of the Obama online community.
